Ciao my dear crocheters!
After one beautiful week in italy, we are back in good old Vienna :)
We had one lovely week, full of sunshine, sea breezes, ice cream and sand castles.
Here are some impressions from Jesolo:
We have also spent one day in Venice – what a mystical and beautiful city! I loved the water canals, the gondolas, the Piazza San Marco and the Grand canal. Our little girl was fascinated by this city without streets and cars, but canals and gondolas instead.
It was the perfect summer family holiday – but now we are glad, we are back home :) though, it seems to be hotter here in Vienna than it was in Jesolo.
Something amazing happened last week – regarding this blog!
My flittering butterflies crochet pattern was featured on Hookin’ on Hump Day # 72 – a link party for the fiber arts, hosted by two fantastic bloggers : Tamara Kelly from Moogly and Sara from My Merry Messy Life.
I’m so grateful and proud, that one of my patterns was featured – I’ve only applied the second time for the link party! And my link was the 3 rd most clicked out of 5.
Thank you all for your support and clicks :) You can’t imagine how suprised I was, when I came home from italy and checked on my blog, only to find that my daily clicks have been sextuplet! It was amazing and I started laughing and crying and dancing all at once :) This link party is such a great idea to support all fiber artists out there.
So if you have projects you are very proud of, check “Hookin’ on Hump Day” out – everyone who has a fiber related project going on (that is posted on a blog or a website), is welcome to join!
How has your last week been ? I hope you liked last weeks edition of Friday Freebie’s :)
Of course, the next edition will be available on my blog this friday, I’m not quite sure what the topic will be – so if you have ideas or wishes – let me know :)
Happy Yarning
