Good morning

Hello everybody,

It’s been a pretty busy weekend for me.

Apart from going outside for long walks with the family, visiting a local easter market and a bit of shopping, of course I did find a few moments to crochet as well.

I decided to work on a blanket last week. It’s my first blanket, so it took me a while to decide for the pattern and for the yarn.

It’s going to be a granny stripe blanket in different shades of colours (mainly blue, maybe green and pink?).

I chose a thin yarn ( worked with 3 mm hook), so it’s a wooleater blanket and it’s probably going to take forever to finish it ;) BUT the yarn I chose is pure merino wool, so absolutely high and soft quality.

I’m still thinking about the colour scheme and I’m going to need more colours than I thought at first.

I will keep you updated about my progress :)

And then, well, you know easter is ahead and I wanted to crochet something for my little girl. First I planned on crocheting a easter basket, but due to a lack of inspiration that didn’t happen – this year ;P

So I made one cute little bunny for her, and I’m absolutely in love with it!

The pattern is not mine, you can find the free pattern here or on  Friday Freebie’s #4 . The pattern is a free pdf download and it’s very clear about what do, with photo instructions on how to embroider nose and mouth.

It’s so adorable, I’d love to make more of it! Maybe I’ll do one or two for my nieces as well :)

So, that’s what I’m working on actually.

What are your actual projects ? I’d love to see some pictures posted on Facebook :)

Speaking of Facebook : I’d like to mention that we reached 100 Likes on the Crochetier Facebook Page yesterday – wohooo!

Thank you all for reading, liking and sharing what I’m doing on my blog! I’m so flattered :) please keep on sharing the crochet love!

I’m planning on getting another free pattern online this week for you as a big THANK YOU for all you lovely crocheters!

It will be cute, little and quick to do (as always) and easter related!

And of course, the sixth edition of Friday Freebie’s will be out on good friday :)

Wishing you a wonderful holy week (is that the right term?) and I’m looking forward to see you guys around on my blog this week,

Happy yarning and Happy easter

Veronika
