Good morning!

Good morning my dear friends!

I’m a bit late with the weekly update, but there is just so much to do!

I’m currently working on a new pattern, it is not finished yet, but from the picture below I’m sure you can guess what it will be :)
applecozy2

Do you know yet ? It is far from being finished by now, but I hope by tomorrow I will be able to post you the new free pattern for my apple cozy! You will love it!

My other projects (granny stripes blanket and cardigan) are still waiting to be finished, but actually I need a break from those longterm projects :)

The best news for this week is: Crochetier will have a new Logo soon :) I am so excited, my husband’s colleague Theresa is working hard on the new logo and what I have seen so far is fantastic ! The final logo will probably be ready for use by the end of this week wohooooo I can’t wait to show you the new design!

So that’s it for now – of course Friday Freebie’s #10 will be posted on Friday! If oyu ahve any wishes or suggestions for the free pattern roundup, email me!

Just another manic monday

Good morning fellow crochet geeks!

Last week I had some more time to work on my latest crochet projects wohooo!

Slowly but surely I’m making progress with my granny stipes blanket:

grannyblanket2

I love the colours ! Unfortunately today I realized that something is wrong with the width of the rows, they are slowly getting shorter OH NOOOOOOOO! But I’m sure I can correct it with the edging!

grannyblanket

The blanket is actually 98 cm width and about 50 cm long, so almost half of it is done.

Time to think about the edging :)

What is your favorite edging for crochet blankets? There are so many possibilities, it will take some time to decide which one to use!

My other project, the carding, is also still in progress:

cardigan2cardigan

At this stage you can already identify it as a cardigan :) I love the pattern, especially the knobs on the border.

Last week I linked up for “Hookin’ on Hump Day” wiht my Butterfly Wreath Crochet pattern :)
All information about this two-weekly link party can be found here.

Mother’s Day is ahead and I’m still thinking of creating something nice, but not sure if I have enough time to finish it in time for this years Mother’s Day :) but what I have in mind can be used throughout the whole year, so wait and see!

Last week Friday Freebie’s contained 10 beautiful striped blankets, this week the free pattern round up will most likely be about the right edging for your blanket!

I’m wishing you a wonderful monday and a short week :)

Happy yarning

Hookin’ on Humpy Day

Hey all!

Have you ever heard from “Hookin’ on Hump Day”?

It’s a link party for all fiber art projects – crochet, knitting, sewing. This link party is hosted by tow fabolous bloggers, Tamara Kelly from Mooglyand Sara McFall from MyMerryMessyLife. This two-weekly event provides support to fiber artists by sharing the most clicked and loved patterns through to this link party. Both hostesses share the winners’ patterns on their social media accounts (Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ ect.) to spread the fiber love.

Here is the link to the latest edition of Hookin’ on Hump Day. Take a look around, there are a lot of great projects to discover. Maybe you have some fiber related project you would like to submit as well ?

Scroll down the post I’ve linked above and add your link to your pattern/blogpost :) It’s so easy! After that, let’s hope that a lot of people clicked your link to make sure you make it into the Top 5 featured projects!.

I’ve applied with this pattern – the butterfly wreath! If you like this pattern and you would like to support me and my blog, please click the link above, scroll down the page until you see all submitted thumbnails and links –  and click my submitted link and cross your fingers :)

I don’t know what it will be when it’s finished, it’s not turning out the way I want it to, so time will tell if I like what I see or not!

On the other side, I’m slowly getting along with my granny stripe blanket :)

Oh how I love these colours :) I feel like it is taking ages to get ahead, but I’m sure it will look fabolous when it’s finished!
